(THEMIS)
She didn’t want to get up. She didn’t want to do anything really. All she had wanted to do was remained curled up within her father’s hip and not worry about the weeks to come. To bad. With the ball coming up, and the rush for dates and mates already happening, Themis had wanted to avoid the junkyard and all the commotion. She was of age now, and that meant that it was her turn to seek out a mate, and or date for the ball. Although this really wasn’t all that big of a deal, it was to her. Themis wasn’t the most out going of queens, nor the most beautiful, so how on earth was SHE of all queens find someone she liked, let alone like her? Plus, unlike the majority of queens and toms in her tribe, Themis wanted love; real, heart felt love. It was a rare thing, but it was desired by her.
Releasing a long sigh, the petite magician continued down Cherry Vale Street, making her way towards the junkyard. At least she would see her mother and uncle Coricopat in the yard. Hopefully her little Benni would be there to. She still had a little ways to go though. Raising a hand, Themis created a little elemental orb and had it dance around her for entertainment. She loved having magic, and she thanked the heavyside everyday for allowing her to have it. It brought her an immense amount of joy and kept her closely connected to her parents. She loved it, period, and was practically determined now that she needed it.
Smiling and giggling at the little elemental, Themis continued on her way, completely ignoring everything and anything around her.

VICTORIA
Victoria left her home without a glance behind. She liked her humans, really did, but ever since they had moved in this house, things have been different. She remembered her humans used to being calm people, not the kind to be at each other's throat, and yet, now the air was tense more often than not and the white queen found that hard to live with. But she just couldn't leave them. And especially not the little girl - though she wasn't all that young neither by her, or her owners' standards actually, if she had to make a comparison, maybe she and her youngest daughter would be equivalent... something she had a hard time considering for Caoimhe hadn't been around as much as Raphaelle had. She didn't know what was wrong, but she knew the young human needed her each time she stroked her and her tear fell on Victoria's fur. She didn't enjoy it at first, but eventually understood she did it to feel better, so she let it pass. Anyway, now wasn't a time for humans' trouble but time was for her and her tribe. Heaviside, she couldn't remember how she came into the 'yard, but didn't regret it. Her trip down memory lane was cancelled though when she caught sight of her niece. 'Themis.' she called, but got no answer. The white queen was slightly offended but cast it aside to call louder 'Themis,' but still no answer, so she walked a bit faster until she was at her niece's side. 'And I thought the old white cat were the most likely to be deaf.' she said, smiling. 'How are you fairing?'

(THEMIS)
Themis had not heard her aunt. She had been so distracted by her little elemental that Victoria’s voice went through one ear and out the other. However, as Victoria came up beside her, Themis jumped in alarm and quickly casted the elemental away. “Oh! Aunt Victoria! You scared me!” She breathed, placing a hand over her heart. Regaining her posture, Themis offered the white queen a smile. It was a gentle, almost unnoticeable smile, but it was a smile none the less.
“I am okay, and you?” She asked, regarding her aunt with hooded eyes. She didn’t feel comfortable revealing to her aunt her insecurities that morning. It was nothing personal, she just felt, well, foolish for feeling the way she did. Licking her lips, Themis motioned towards the side walk. “Are you headed to the junkyard as well?”

VICTORIA
Victoria managed to repress a chuckle. Themis was so like her dad in many way, magic was just one of their most obvious likeness. The white queen hadn't noticed the little ball at first, but saw it just a second before it vanished. Practicing magic in front of every one, especially human that could see it was a bit foolish in Victoria's mine but she wasn't the one to tell her that. Besides, her niece was already nervous, no need to add more to whatever bothered her. 'As a matter of fact, I'm. After all, it's where the whole tribe is.' she softly answered. 'You aren't coming?' she asked out of genuine concern. Who knew what could go through these kits nowadays.

“No…I’m coming,” she confirmed, nodding her head lightly. “I’m just taking my time. To be quite honest Aunt Tori, I have been trying to avoid the junkyard.” There, she said it. Victoria was family after all, and so, there was no hurt in opening up just a little to her. Besides, Themis had to tell someone. She had wanted to fill her father in on all her problems that morning, however, Misto had woken up and left long before she had even stirred. Even her uncle Quaxo had already made his way to the junkyard.
Glancing back at Victoria, Themis held up her hands and smirked. “Don’t worry though, I’m not considering the Warehouse at all. It’s more of a personal…thing.” Sighing, Themis rubbed one shoulder as her nerves began to eat away at her again. Oh how embarrassing this was.

BENVOLIO
Benny was curled up and purring quietly on the porch of his people's house. The little girl he owned had gone off to school and her mother had barely stopped her from carrying little Benny onto the bus with her. He left her behind and he decided to wait on the porch for her. Sure, the day would be long... but there was a garden nearby he could play in and chase bugs, or he could probably get back into the house by just pawing at the door...
His ear pricked up when he heard a familiar voice calling out an even more familiar name. He saw a white blur hurry past the corner and he sat up quickly. It was his aunt Victoria, calling out for... "Themis?" Benny asked himself quietly before he began bounding off the porch, into the grass, then off onto the sidewalk.
"Themis!" He called, running up to the pair, who had met up already. He hadn't seen his sister in days, it seemed. "Oh, Themis, I've missed you! Where have you been?" He gave her a quick nuzzle and looked up at her, eyes practically shining. Suddenly, he remembered is manners and turned to the white queen. "Good morning, Aunt Victoria," he said, with less enthusiasm, but all politeness. He gave her a quick nuzzle as well.
Gosh, was he a pleased little kitten.

VICTORIA
Victoria was a bit taken aback by her niece's answer. Themis had been avoiding the tribe for some reason and even though she didn't consider the Warehouse - thanks heaviside - it still didn't mean things were alright. Humans could be dangerous, Themis could end up hit by a car, taken at the pound or worse. No, the 'yard was indeed a safe place. But why did the young magician not want to go with her friends and family? All of a sudden, she hugged her. She wanted to know more, but she wasn't going to force Themis into telling her. Besides, Benvolio had appeared. 'It's alright sweetie. If you need a ear to talk to, I'll be here.' she muttered before letting room for the mostly white tom who also hugged his half sister. 'Hello Benny.' she added. 'Quite energic this morning, aren't you?'

(THEMIS)
Victoria hugged her. Her aunt rarely ever hugged her… Gasping slightly, Themis didn’t quite know what to make of this sudden display of affection, and for a moment, she remained rigid within her Aunt’s arms. Then…Themis relaxed. Releasing a held breath, Themis returned Victoria’s hug and nuzzled her head against her aunt’s silky white shoulder. Despite being “of age” now, Themis still had a few kittenish traits, and she found that she needed nurturing…a lot. Victoria was providing that source of comfort she so desperately desired, and for once, she felt comfortable around her classy aunt.
Then Benni approached. Her sweet, lovable, happy Benni. Pulling away from Victoria, Themis managed to whisper “I’ll tell you later” before returning Benvolio’s loving nuzzle. “I’ve been with father and my humans Benni, where else would I be?” She chuckled, ruffling his head fur. “I missed you too. You must come see me more.”

BENVOLIO He felt embarrassed immediately when Victoria made mention of his excitement. He scolded himself silently... he tried not to be exuberant. Even though he was a kitten, he learned a long time ago that annoying kittens are never favorites of anyone. Regardless, he smiled up at them, though he tried to be much calmer. "I don't like bothering you when you're over there..." he started, crinkling his nose, "or dad. I don't want to bother anyone... and your people, they may not like me..."
The small tom twisted his fluffy tail between his hands and looked down.

VICTORIA
Victoria smiled, she wasn't sure where he got all this energy, but it was somewhat refreshing for her to see a carefree young. Even now, his sad kitten look made her swoon. 'Hope it'll last,' she silently prayed. Adulthood and its problem always came too soon. 'How can anyone not like you?' she asked quietly. 'Such a loveable kit.. it'd be unthinkable.'

(THEMIS)
“Psshing” her younger brother, Themis shook her head and grinned. “Benni, you wouldn’t be bothering father and I. I seriously doubt Quaxo would mind another cuddle buddy either.” She joked, picturing their sleeping arrangement. She had always been put in the middle of her father and Quaxo with her legs thrown across her uncle, and her upper torso cuddled against Misto’s chest. It was quite the amusing sight, but thankfully not many of her relatives had witnessed it.
“And Aunt Tori is right. My humans would be crazy not to like you. If they don’t, well then, I will just have to come and visit you more,” she purred, stroking her fingers through the back of his head fur. Oh how she loved her little brother. She probably doted on him way to much, but she couldn’t help it. He was one of her sources of sanity, and therefore, automatically special.
“Want to walk with Aunt Tori and I to the junkyard?” She asked, trying to sound up beat. She still wasn't to keen on going there, however, she knew she couldn't avoid it.

BENVOLIO Benny blushed under his fur and tried to suppress a giggle. He didn't really think he deserved any compliments, let alone from Victoria and Themis. He gave his tail a final twist and dropped it. "Oh, I don't know Aunt Vicky..." bu he tried to throw his sadness away. "Thanks," he just added, politely, still blushing.
He purred in response to Themis' hands in her headfur and finally began beaming with happiness again. "If you think so Themis... I'll come over there soon. I promise!" His purring got louder and he nodded happily. "Yea, let's go! I can't wait to see mom..." He trailed off, happily, and began leading the way.

(THEMIS) - (gonna go on ahead and reply, sorry Quitte)
“You better!” Themis trilled, smiling at her younger sibling. She surely didn’t mind him showing up at her father’s home. It would not only give her one on one time with her favorite sibling, but would give him more opportunities for some father/son bonding. He was the ONE sibling that she would willing allow to bust it on her special father/daughter time, so that right there said enough.
Themis was pleased that Benni was excited about going to the junkyard, however, she refrained from making it clear that she wasn’t. Ugh…what was there to enjoy? Sure, there was her family, but even she didn’t like some of them *cough* Charlotte *cough*. Also, everyone was just so…in your face, and that alone was enough to send her hightailing out of there.
Sighing, Themis patted Benni’s shoulder and nodded. “Yea, lets go.”

(Not so big a deal Cayran, I had trouble finding anything to write anyway, even now ><°)
Victoria
The white queen let her nephew and niece sort their 'problems' alone, she couldn't really say or do anything about it anyway, except perhaps reassure Benvolio that he'd always be welcome in his father's home. They both seemed to have trouble, a bit different, but not so for apparently Benvolio feared to be unwelcome and Themis felt unwelcome.. And Victoria couldn't really understand why they felt that way. She supposed it might just be a phase for the youngster, after all, he was the little one of the tribe so the elder may chose to remain among themselves to speak of things young ones shouldn't hear. Themis was another matter, but she'd see to it as soon as she could. 'Right after you,' she merely said, walking alongside her relatives.
