TANTOMILE
It warmed the elder queens heart to see that Themis was in a better mood then the last time they had talked. Tantie knew her daughter was never one to be exactly "perky" but at leasts the young magician was smiling now. Tantomile smiled as her daughter returned the embrace. The mystic sometimes missed being needed by her kits, especially since Teo had gone and become so social, he hardly spoke to her anymore. "I'm doing fine dear, just a little groggy, I just woke up," she answered her daughter, a warm expression in her grey eyes. She looked over to her two mates talking, seeing Munkustrap walk away. "Ah, well, it looks like your father is alone now, do you want to come say hello with me?" Tantomile asked. She noticed the look in Mistoffelees' eye, something was bothering him, and even though she wasn't extraordinairly close to Misto, she still cared about him and wanted to help him if something was wrong

(Nemi - I’ll post Quaxo once Ele posts Cettie. ) (Themis) As the young tux listened to her mother, her ears perked slightly at the mention of her father, and Themis quickly glanced over in Mistoffelees’s direction. Munkustrap had moved on to chat with her uncle and Etcetera, leaving her father all by his lonesome. Themis had remember that when she first spotted Misto that morning with Munkustrap, he looked as if he was bothered by something; that hadn’t changed. Despite any airs that her father put on, Themis could tell by the look in his eyes that his mind was burdened, and the young queen bit her lip, deeply wishing she could make it all better. Not wanting to worry her mother though, Themis quickly put on a bright smile and nodded. “Yea mother, I would love to go chat with dad.” She said, already heading in Misto’s direction. Themis wasn’t sure if she wanted to know what was bothering her father, but she was sure of the fact that she wanted to brighten his day, even if it was for a moment. (Caoimhe) “Oh Cassius!” Cao exclaimed dramatically, almost immediately moving to her handsome brother’s side in an attempt to seek solace, “Narci decided to play ruff this morning.” It was obvious by the look on the ballerina’s face that she wasn’t at all pleased with the stain in her silky white fur. Although it wasn’t a big deal for most, it definitely was for her, and she desperately wanted to get it off! “I decided though that if he wanted to play dirty, I would return the affectionate greeting.” She cooed, her voice hinting sarcasm. “Only seems fair, right?” Caoimhe then turned and kissed her favorite sibling’s cheek in greeting, purring contently in his presence. Although Narcius was handsome (as was all of Victoria’s kittens), and for the most part a “decent” sibling, it was no secret as to where Cao’s real allegiance lie. She had a very big soft spot for Cassius, and for her sister Callista. Not only were they equals when it came to physical beauty, but she could relate to them and she could honestly say that she loved them. Cassius was her big brother though, so he was a bit special in her book. “Awe, don’t be mean Cassius darling, Narcius is our brother after all, and the beautiful must stick together, even if they can be a royal pain in the you know what!” She exclaimed, giving Narcius the “look.” “I’m glad you’re here though Cassius, you’re the only one I would trust to help me get this nasty grime out of my fur.” Reaching out she stroked Cassius’s arm affectionately and smiled, already expressing her favoritism.

ETCETERA
She gave a slight shrug. "I'm quite well myself." Etcy felt her cheeks flush at her mate's words. She inclined her head slightly, ducking her face down as the blush faded away. "Thank you, Quaxo." She wished she'd had a better reaction to the compliment. It wasn't as if she never got them...Not to say that she received them all the time or that she didn't find them flattering...Well, it had been some time since she had spoken with Quaxo.
Her eyes also trailed over to their daughter, who stood beside Azrael. "I'm pretty sure that Pelli is doing well. I haven't had the chance to chat with her this morning, but I'd assume she's fine." She wondered where Narcius was and whether that relationship had completely fallen apart. Etcetera didn't think she'd seen them together in a while.
She was just wondering what to say next to her mate when Munkustrap joined them. "Good morning, Munkustrap..." Etcy began, but trailed off, surprised by the leader's words. "Of course not," she said quickly. "What can we do?"
AVISAE
Avi gave Sommer a slight squeeze, listening to her. She wondered what it meant. Where there really bad things on the way? She stroked a hand through Sommer's dark hair comfortingly. "No, I think you should definitely tell someone," she said, a little emphatically. It seemed like a bad idea to ignore your intuition. "Could you tell Mistoffelees, maybe? Or what about Munkustrap?"
Avisae gave a slight shrug. "It could just be me, but I think that this is the wrong feeling to ignore. If you feel like there could be danger coming, you should tell someone who could stop it."
NARCIUS
Narcius grinned broadly. "I don't know what you mean," he told her, "but I won't dignify it with an answer." Oh, yes, he loved his little sister (despite his jealousy), and if anyone ever tried to hurt her he'd go into defense mode and protect her honor. But that didn't mean that he couldn't mock her when he felt compelled and she wasn't safe from any pranks he might dream up.
He took on a very hurt tone, crossing his arms over his chest. "Didn't I just kiss you?" He sighed and shook his head. "You queens, never satisfied with what you get. Picky, picky." He threw her a glance, grinning again. "And that pout won't get you anywhere with me, darling," he commented, tapping her on the nose.
"Aww," he began, wrapping his arms around Cao in return. The sentiment swiftly turned to a quite unmasculine screech of "Aaai!" as he felt the mud connect with his back. Narcius jumped back, frantically wiping at the dirt smeared into his immaculate white fur by his smug sister. His annoyance increased as he heard the haughty tones of his brother. He quickly smoothed the alarm from his face, putting on an expression of composure. He arched an eyebrow. "Well, well. Look who it is. Certainly the most beautiful male that has ever graced this Yard, nay this earth! Hmmm, pity the ladies don't seem to agree. Still single, am I right, Cassius?" Narcius struck where he knew his brother was vulnerable, infuriated by the situation with the mud staining his fur and his siblings sneering at him.

CASSIUS
With a slight cringe, Cassius flicked a few bits of dirt off his sister's shoulder, but even that small effort got him far dirtier than he cared to be. Luckily-- and was he really thinking that anything having to do with his brother was lucky?-- Narcius piped up with his own witty banter, trying to intimidate Cassius in turn. But Cassius wasn't offended, or hurt, because this is how daily life had always been for the brothers, since they'd been able to talk and strut around; always trying to one-up eand insult each other. True, the two weren't enemies to the point they wouldn't work together in a desperate situation, like if Cao was hurt or the Junkyard was in danger. But that didn't change the fact that they flat out did NOT like each other.
Cassius' smirk did falter slightly as Narcius mentioned his deficiency in the realm of mates, but Cassius was clever, and quick-minded. "Oh yes, still very single, Narcius. I didn't have to settle for the first queen to look my way. Then again, if I had, I'd have more mates than even Tugger does." The former prowess of the Rum Tum Tugger was not lost on the younger generation, which was, perhaps, one reason why Cassius looked up to him so much. "And what about you, hmm? Xochipilli looks awful depressed lately, doesn't she?" His smirk grew, and his eyes narrowed, menacingly, "She doesn't look like she's very satisfied, does she?"
It was a low blow, sure, but Cassius didn't care. He flicked a few more bits of dirt off of Cao's back, secretly quite proud of himself.

(QUAXO)
“That’s good…” the black tux said as his mate spoke of their daughter. “She has always been a wonderful young lady.” Quaxo only hoped that Narcius knew what he had in a mate, and didn’t take his daughter for granted. Nevertheless, he had faith in his Victoria’s children as well, so he only assumed the best.
As Munkustrap approached, Quaxo found himself both relieved and disappointed. Relieved in the sense that that awkwardness between he as his mate was somewhat lifted, but disappointed in the fact that he hadn’t the chance to work through it. He had time though - he had time as long as he was alive and well.
“Morning Munkustrap,” he said, standing up to greet his leader. “Not at all. I’m at your service.” He stated with a smile, happy to do what he could to help.
(SOMMER) - tempt for Msterope
Sommer nodded as she listened to Avisae, taking the older queen’s advice to heart. “Yea, I guess that would be the best thing to do. I…I might tell Misto first. Your father seems to busy to bother him with such things. If the feeling doesn’t subside though, I will bring it to his attention.” The young queen said, biting her lower lip as the whole ordeal began to run through her mind.
She honestly had no idea where these sort of dreams were coming from, after all, she wasn’t magical, or intuitive like the twins. She was just little ol’ her, and she definitely wasn’t accustomed to feeling this way. She just hoped that this was a one time ordeal, and nothing more.
“Thanks Avisae, I really appreciate you listening to me and all. It made me feel better,” Sommer said gently, offering the silver queen a small smile.
(CAOIMHE)
Cao graciously accepted Cassius’s help as he tended to her fur; however, the pearly white princess didn’t exactly enjoy the bickering between her two brothers. Cassius and Narcius definitely had their difference, there was no denying that, but brothers (especially the handsome brothers of Victoria) shouldn’t cut one another down like that. Hadn’t their mother taught them better? She would have expected nothing else from some of the other families in the yard, but their’s was superior, and for that reason they needed to act superior.
Clearing her throat, Cao reached out and touched Narcius’s arm gently while she remained standing within the comforting shadow of the masked Cassius. “Now now my dear brothers, no need to quarrel. Cassius will mate when he finds a queen worthy enough of having him, and Xochipilli would be out of her mind if she found you dissatisfying Narci. The most beautiful family within the whole tribe shouldn’t bicker like mongrels, don’t you agree?” She cooed, one eyebrow cocking in arrogance. To emphasize her last statement, Cao straightened her back in a relaxed, yet elegant pose and pursed her lips - a typical stance of her mother’s. She enjoyed flaunting her ballerina-esq figure, and hoped (knew) her brothers took pride in their’s as well.
“Speaking of mates and what not, have we all dates to the ball? I am assuming your going with Pilli, Narci? And what about you Cassius? Who is your pick?” She asked, curious to know her brother’s choice as arm candy.

HALLANDOR
The red and white tom rose up off the ground and sniffed the air. It smelled sweet. It was mid moring and he had overslept again. The tom stretched then set about cleaning the specks of dirt from his fur. Hallandor was completely bored. He didn't really have anything to do untill the ball. Sighing he started to walk around the junkyard, his tail, high in the air, flicking ever so slightly.
Hal soon came to a secluded, quite corner of the yard. It was nice and shaded from the sun and the sound of birds ecoed around him. He sat quietly down on one of the rare patches of grass that grew around the edges of the junkyard. A slight breeze blew around him and Hal sniffed the air again. He could smell the sent of another cat close by. His ears pricked up, in seach for a sound of movement and his eyes darted around to look for the Jellicle. He soon spotted her, resting quite close to where he was sitting.
Seeing who she was, Hallandor neither smiled or frowned. His face stayed neautral, as his feelings towards her often were. The tom turnded his body towards her and spoke in a low voice, seeing if she was awake or not. "Mum?"

MISTOFFELEES
Mistoffelees sighed and ran a paw through his head fur as Munkustrap walked away. He knew the grey and black tom was concerned, but trusted that he knew what to do. He glanced around the yard to see if he could find one of the twins.
As if on cue, he noticed Tantomile and Themis walking towards him. He smiled, trying to keep up appearances for his daughter,
"Hello you two!" he greeted with slight wave, "How are you this morning?"
((I think that Misto is the only one who has had a response to him... if I am wrong though, let me know! I'm really good at missing things. Haha.))

(CUPIO)
Cupio was ready. He was wide awake, alert, and enthusiastic. Well, maybe not the latter, but at least he was awake. It had been ages since he had actually risen at such a god forsaken hour; however, his current invention required immediate care. Actually, it wasn’t that early, but it was for him. Cupio had worked practically the entire evening on it, only to stop once he got extremely tired. He wasn’t about to let it sit though. It wasn’t as if the invention itself was particularly important, but once Cupio got something on his mind, he had to finish it, or screw it up beyond the point of repair.
Slipping a hand crafted backpack over his shoulder, Cupio left his den and shivered once the cold morning air stung his eyes. It was mornings like this that he wished he had inherited his father’s thicker coat rather than his mother’s sleek, fine fur instead. Nevertheless, at least he had fur, or enough to keep himself from freezing as the sun rose.
Breathing in the cold air, Cupio let it sting his lungs before blowing it back out, watching the steam rise from his parted lips. At least the cold air was refreshing in a sense- it made one feel more alive and alert.
(Waiting for Del to post before I post Themis.)

NARCIUS
His lip curled slightly, but he pulled it back, determined not to give his brother the satisfaction. 'Settle for the first queen' indeed. He had loved Xochipilli...once...This shouldn't have upset him. The two brothers were always arguing. But Narcius was feeling uncertain about his mateship. He wasn't feeling particularly witty as he retorted, "More than the Tugger? Ha! You'll be lucky to find one queen who'd consent to bond herself to you."
He felt Cao's hand lightly touch his arm. He exhaled and raised his head, letting her calm him. He inclined his head slightly as she mentioned his mate. He agreed completely with that. "Mmm," he consented with a slight nod. They were a beautiful family, that much was correct. They should present a good example to the rest of the Junkyard.
Narcius shrugged. "We haven't discussed it, actually," he told his siblings coolly in regard to his taking Pilli to the ball. He knew his dear Cassius would have something to say about that, but he doubted that his brother could manage to find a decent date himself.
AVISAE
She nodded. "That's a good idea." Avi scanned the yard for her father. Picking him out, she watched him for a moment. "Though, I'm sure my father would be glad to listen to you. This seems to be a serious matter..." She trailed off. She didn't think she was cheering the young queen any. Wanting to be more comforting, she reached out and patted Sommer's shoulder.
"Of course, Sommer," Avisae replied, smiling slightly. "I'm glad. Any time I can help."
((Should we continue if Sommer's no longer anyone's character?))

TANTOMILE
The calico queen smiled as her daughter started towards her father. There was nothing Tantie loved more in the entire world then when she could get her family together. She held her happy expression as Misto greeted them. "Hello Dear, I'm doing fine this morning, and you?" she asked. Tantomile normally didn't call her mates dear, but she was in a good mood this morning, and it felt right to her. Despite her good mood, the mystic still noticed that something seemed to be troubling her mate, and she did want to know if there was any way she could help.

(THEMIS)
“Hey dad!” She trilled enthusiastically, sauntering over towards Mistoffelees. Themis was rather excited about having a family “get together” of sorts with both of her parents considering the fact that it didn’t happen as much as it should. Her mother had other mates, as well as her father, and the three of them getting together was somewhat of a rare thing. She loved it though when it happened.
“I’m fine,” Themis replied, refraining from asking the same question to him. Her mother had already asked how he was doing, and she didn’t wish to be repetitive.
“I’ve worked a bit on my disappearing act, I think I’m improving. You’ll have to be the judge though.” She said with a smile, violet eyes glancing from her father to her mother. She could sense the tenseness in the air around her father as well as her mother’s concern; however, Themis only desired to brighten the mood if only for a little bit.

(I'M A HORRIBLE PERSON FOR DISAPPEARING. Going to say, in accordance with Nemi's post for Cassius, that he left her side after she clammed right up in embarrassment of his question, and they probably got a little annoyed at each other :< MOVING ON)
CHARLOTTE With a huff and a puff and self-loathing pout, she crossed her arms as she watched Cassius go off talking to prettier queens (even if Caoime was his sister). Why did she have to be such a pathetic and awkward and fat little queen? Of all cats to be comfortable around, why couldn't she just be herself and not get all nervous and embarrassed around her best friend? Lotte sighed and poked her head out of the crate in which she lay, resting her chin on her soft, round arm against the edge of the wooden planks. And then, Hallandor happened.
Her heart skipped, and she yanked every visible body part back into the crate again. It wobbled. She whimpered. It tumbled. She fell. Cupio was actually very lucky that he wasn't hit.
Luckily, the crate fell ontop of her, hiding her like a turtle from the sheer horror that had just become her entire life. She peeked out of her captor's slats, and upon seeing her brother, reached through them to grab fruitlessly at his tail.
"Cupio! Cupie," came her strained whisper, melodrama dripping off every word. "Do you have any of your knick-knacks on you that maybe can turn back time? I think today is going to kill me."

(CUPIO)
“What the…” Cupio spat, spinning around to look at what grabbed hold of his tail. What the world indeed…Charlotte? One of the brown tux’s eyebrows rose as he leaned over, trying to get a better look at his sister. He nearly snickered at the pitiful sight, but Cupio (or Cupie in Charlotte’s case) knew she wouldn’t appreciate it.
“Lotte? What are you doing?” He asked, already moving into a squatting position. Cupio then smirked despite his attempts, and lifted the crate off of his delicate sister. Offering her a hand, Cupio gave her a questioning look and placed one hand on his hip. “To be honest Lotte, fishing you out from under a fallen crate isn’t exactly how I pictured the morning going. Your okay though, right?”
Cupio slowly paced around his sister, inspecting her just in case she had received a noticeable injury. “I can fetch mom if you’d like me too…”

MISTOFFELEES
Misto smiled at both his mate and his daughter. It was strange to him for his whole family to be together. Although he enjoyed it, it was a rare occurrence. And on top of all that, Tantomile called him dear. "I'm doing alright." he said in a tone that to him sounded slightly fake, and he wondered if it did to the others. Though, even if it had, it didn't seem to bother his daughter much and he was glad for that. Lately she had seemed so sad, and he had been wanting to ask her about it, but never seemed to find a good time. However, he wasn't going to bring it up now since Themis was in such a good mood, "Your disappearing, eh?" he inquired with a small smile in the tuxedo queen's direction, "I would love to see it since I am sure you have perfected it." he placed his hand warmly on her shoulder.
STASIA
Stasia wandered into the yard at a leisurely pace. She didn't really have a destination, or anyone to meet, so she took time to enjoy the walk to the main clearing. As she was walking, she heard a loud noise from around a corner. Quickly, the red and white queen bolted in the direction of the noise to see what it was. As she rounded the corner, she saw a crate fall on top of Charlotte, barely missing Cupio. She walked up to them in a hurry, "Oh, my goodness! Are you alright, Lotte?" she reached them just as Cupio pulled the crate off of the white queen.

CHARLOTTE "You think this is how I wanted my day to start?" she squealed as she took his hand and climbed to her feet, placing herself craftily out of Hallandor's view. Lotte sneered at the crate and kicked it away with a snort. d**ned thing. Bad dreams, making an idiot of herself - twice now! and nearly crushing her brother as she scrambled to hide from her stupid crush? This was why she didn't do mornings. "I shouldn't even be awake right now. I should be snuggled up in my warm bed - or Endy's warm bed - and getting enough beauty sleep to make up for this, but nooo..."
The dramatic groan and roll of her eyes proved to be a mistake. She caught sight of her sister approaching, and Stasia though Lotte had no problems with her was not going to help. Now she just felt downright awful. There were only three cats in the Yard who could have made her feel worse about things, and thank Heaviside, Stasia was the least of them. It would have been disastrous if the other two had decided to pop around. But oh god, now that Stasia was here he would waltz over too and that was just going to be fatal. She eyed her maned sister with a pout.
"...today sucks."
