POLARIS
The fur on Polaris’s cheeks became a deep shade of grey almost black due to the dark blush on the skin beneath it when she looked up at Sanctifer. The way he was looking at her made her even shyer then she already was. Her tail swished nervously then wrapped loosely around her legs as his eyes looked at each of her features. As he did so she started to wonder what he was thinking and ended up staring at his face with a dazed off thoughtful expression. His voice brought her out of her thoughts and she realised his blue eyes where staring right into her green ones. Her blush deepened a shade again as she replied. “Um no not at all,” she answered timidly, “I-I was just curious to why someone so high up would want anything to do with someone as plain and new as me is all.” She lowered her head nervously thinking she had spoken out of turn and because her face was glowing with embarrassment that she didn’t want him to see.

SANCTIFER
'Come on, you're not plain,' he said with honey toned voice, cuping her head in his hand. 'You're pretty, pretty enough to interest many males, no matter what their rank is.' he resumed, speaking softly. 'Why would you doubt that?' he asked dreamily while passing his right hand through her curly hair. 'Besides, as you're new, I'm interested in what make you come in such an awful place.'

POLARIS
Polaris’s eyes widened when he cupped her head in his hand and her blushed came back full force. She had never been this close to a male before. Her heart was touched by his words, she had lived the majority of her life alone by the shore so she had little experience with compliments and other such things. It was nice to have at least on person think of her like that. “Thank you,” she said softly looking into his eyes as he ran his hand through her hair, “and I doubt it because I have had little attention given to me by anyone. Male or otherwise.” Still looking into his eyes she hesitated a bit before continuing to speak. “As to how I ended up here? I live by the shore but there was a fall in the amount of fish caught that I fed on recently. As a result I ended up near starved when I bumped into Griddlebone, she offered me her help in exchange of my services to the warehouse. I had no choice and have been here since,” she told him, it was not the most exciting of stories she admitted but it was hers.

NIJINSKI
"I understand, and I guess it makes sense. But I fail to see what makes any of what you do disgusting. We do what we do to get by. We survive in a place like this because we aren't afraid to do everything we can to get to where we need to be and to become what we want to be. We don't fall victim to this moral business. I have no morals. They can weaken judgment and make us think about the justification of our actions. If we, any of us in this place, did that we wouldn't last a minuet here. We wouldn't be able to perform any of the things we excel in. We couldn't do things like stealing, bullying, torture or even kill. Cats who are blinded by moral standard always believe that they are right and are "protectors of the weak" they never stop to think that could actually be doing the bad and we are the good guys."
Nijinski never turned to face the queen that sat beside her as she spoke. She realized that her opinions were hers alone and that it was very much doubtful that anyone would share them.
"Everyone says that being bad is the easy option and being good is hard work. What they don't realize is the things that we see, the things that we do. They haunt us forever. And only those who truly master their mind can reach their full potential"
ZODIAC
The tom raised his eyebrow at the queen and smirked. "Thats ok. Strangely your not the first to do that. Though, most cats think that I'm actually asking them what their sign is, not telling them what my name is. When they finally realize that Zodiac is my actual name they laugh and say "What a stupid name." Sometimes I almost agree with them."
The tom turned to look at Paige, to see the queen staring off into the nothingness. "What's my story? If you don't mind me asking?"

SYRAVASH:
Hearing her the sweetness oozing from her mouth, forced, he couldn't help but stare at her with an amused and impressed glint in his wild eyes. Not even a minute into his conversation with her, and she was already showing him sass, annoyance, and he suspected silent fury too. Now why couldn't his father give him aide's like her? One's that talked back and said no when he gave a command. He chuckled, even after she had clamped a paw over her mouth. He brought the worst of her out, or was the worst yet to come? He wanted to know! "Good. I do like those I find worthy enough to be around, to be...bad. Not obedient. You're not like those my dear brother surrounds himself with. Those cats are worthless tools." In his own way he had given the queen a compliment.

SANCTIFER
Innocent it'd appear. he smiled. That could prove interesting, to say the least. 'Well, lucky me, ain't I? I shall be the first one to take... interest in you. As for Griddlebone, I guess this dear mother of mine may have a nice side. Depending what she asked of you.' he added suspiciously. 'What would the High Queen ask you to do? Be her slave?' None, not even Macavity he was sure, could guess what the white lady had in mind. And he wasn't convinced he wanted to know, he thought with a repressed shudder.

SOPHRONIA:
Sophie flushed under his intense, wild-eyed gaze. I think he just complimented me, She thought. "I agree," She began. "Most of the henchqueens here lack....backbone." She scowled as she thought of some of the simmpering queens that infested the place. "My brother hates them too." She smiled at the thought of her twin. Then her frown deeped. She wondered where he was. No matter, Vash could keep her company until then. "If you need my help sometime, I'd be happy to oblidge."
SILAS:
There she was- His very thought stopped as he found his sister talking to another tom. Vash. The pretty one, he remembered her saying once. Fear mixed with anger flooded through him, and he stood a ways away, not daring to get closer, but gnashing his teeth when she gave the tom a radiant smile. With a grimace of inner turmoil, Silas turned away.

VERITY
Verity paced the Warehouse, looking for something to do. Maybe she would go to the yard later. Maybe not. She rounded a corner. Her arms were behind her back, her walk more of a saunter. Of course, if she saw, say, Macavity, she would quickly bow her head and do her best to look obedient. At the moment, however, her chin was tilted upward, her eyes slightly narrowed in a sexy, controlling. Confidence seemed to radiate from her. Well, that was how she saw things at least.
She spotted Silas and swept over to him, a slight smile tugging her lips, her tail swishing around her ankles. "Silas," she purred, leaning against the wall beside him, facing him. "And what might you be up to on this fine morning?" She asked, an eyebrow twitching as she smiled. Over his shoulder, she saw Vash conversing with Silas's sister. Her smile turned into a grin for a fraction of a second before she turned her attention back to the white tom. "Surely such a fine tom as yourself has plans for the day."

PAIGE Paige felt a tad bit better that she wasn't the first one to make her mistake about Zodiac's name. She still felt kind of foolish and had to focus to keep the blush from coming back. Her eyes softened with a bit of concern when Zodiac said he didn't like his own name. Paige didn't know what it was, but she felt strongly about names, mainly because it seemed to be a way to identify a cat with one word(something the white and brown queen found to be very interesting).
When the orange and black tom asked her what his story was her ears perked up considerably and gave him a "really?" look. Paige made up stories about peoples past all the time in her head, but never before had someone actually asked her about it. A part of the wide eyed queens heart softened for Zodiac. "Well, only you would know your real story, but I can tell you what I think it is," She said, turning herself so she was facing Zodiac's profile. The young queen stared at his face for a moment, her eyes inspecting his expression and how he sat. "Someone hurt you a while ago. You cared for them and they either left you or did something else equally hurtful. Ever sense you have kept mostly to yourself, only talking to other cats when you think you might be able to find out some information. You want to prove yourself and make someone feel sorry for hurting you. That's how I see it at least," Paige explained, holding up her hands at the last sentence. She continued to sit horizontally from the tom. If what I think is right, then why the heck would he talk to me? she thought.

SILAS
Silas growled quietly as Verity sauntered up to him, her hips swaying seductively. As she leaned towards him, he scowled, narrowing his gold eyes. She'd obviously seen Sophie and that Tom talking, and was getting a great time out of his anger and jealousy. "I plan on killing something." he growled. "A spineless, preying worm that has terrible intentions for innocent queens." Intent on distracting himself, he looked up into her face, letting a winning smile flow over his features. He angled his head slightly, allowing the light to play off his cheekbones and to accent the yellow flecks in his eyes. "And you, my dearest?" He asked, flicking his tail playfully near her ear. Please say something that will distract me from wanting to kill any tom that comes within ten feet of my sister, he silently prayed.

ZODIAC"Interesting. You can tell all that just from looking at me?" The tom was impressed with the queen's skill. For the most part she was right, though slightly behind the times. Being in the warehouse for at least four months had allowed him to adapt to the... "feel" that surrounded this place. He had learned to let go of all emotion, to push it down into the dark recesses of his heart. Zodiac was content with his black, emotionless soul. "What else can you tell?" He whispered to Paige. If she could tell that much just by a glance, surely, if she studied him more closely, she would be able to see... "NO!!" Zodiac roared and leaped up, full of furry and rage. Zodiac sprinted down the corridor at full length before he came to a halt at the very end of the passageway. Breathing heavily he slammed his paw against the wall a few times, each hit calming him down slightly. Then the very thing, the memory that he had tried to forget came flooding back into his mind: Zodiac stood with a group of toms, all of whom were much larger then Zodiac, and much stronger. Backing out now was not an option. The group was waiting for a female queen, no older then a kitten, to come around the corner. They had spotted her earlier and discovered that this was her den. When the queen appeared the group of surrounded her and pinned her to the ground holding her still for Zodiac. The queen struggled and screamed, pleaded to be let go. The toms just laughed. Zodiac looked into the queens eyes and saw her distress and fear. He looked away as he forced himself on to her... "Zodiac!" the ginger tom heard himself scream.Zodiac opened his eyes and looked up at the roof, he had fallen down hard on the floor. He shuddered. Something felt wet on his chest. Zodiac looked down to find that he had slashed himself, in a fit of terror. That memory always brought out the worst in him. He had killed before, he was not ashamed of that. But what he had done to that queen, the innocent young cat, he could never ever forgive himself for, he could never do that again. Shakily he got up and forced his legs to walk all the way back down the corridor to where Paige was waiting. Zodiac stopped in the shadows in front of where he had left Paige and took a very deep breath. Acting like nothing had happened at all, stepped out of the shadows and stood right in front of her smiling. ((Long post!!!! sorry if this is a bit God-modding him. I just wanted to further explain why he might want information, and why he never gets close to anyone. OH and the memory bit is the underlined part ))

PAIGE
The young queen shrugged, the smallest of pleased smiles spreading on her round face."not necessarily, just your expression and posture, I'm not psychic" Paige elaborated. She deffinately didn't want a rumor that she had powers running around, that kind of thing could get her into serious trouble. The white and brown queen jumped as Zodiac screamed. The sudden outburst caused the queen to squeak extremely loudly, the sound echoing down the hallway. "Sorry!," she called down the hallway, and then felt extraordinairly stupid. She was about to go chase after Zodiac, her caring nature overriding her common sense telling her that going towards the crazy screaming cat may not be a very good idea. Just as she was making a move towards the hall, he came back, staring at her throught the darkness. Her fur was still on end, her green eyes wider then normal. She looked at him for a moment, before taking a step closer and inspecting his wounds, not saying a word as she worked.

ALIBASTUS
Albi was about to pounce on the tom as he pulled Polaris away. The tabby tom normally didn't get along with other toms, but this one in particularly really made his hair stand on end. It was when he cuaght the grey queens reassuring look that he calmed down, if only barely. You can't always protect her, let her stand up for herself for a while he thought, keeping an ear perked in the direction she went just in case Sanctifer tried to over power her. Alibastus turned his attention back to Nessi, the black and white queen had been quiet during the entire exchange, zoning off no doubt the black marked tom thought, a small smile spreading across his handsome features. "I'm sorry about all that. How are you Nessi?" he asked politely to the young queen.

POLARIS
Polaris would have looked away at his comment about being interested in her if his hand wasn't still keeping it in place. Opting to just look down at her feet she continued to speak. “Lucky?” she asked slightly amused, “Well if that's how you see it I suppose so. As for Lady Griddlebone I think she does have a nice side, she didn't ask much of me only to run errands and other small tasks. I guess she just pitied me, I was in a rather pathetic state when she found me.” It was still strange to her, why would Griddlebone's son suddenly show an interest in her? Plain, timid Polaris?

SANCTIFER
'I do see it that way.' he said, removing his hand from her face to put it under her chin to make her look up into his eyes. He disliked not being able to see what was in his interlocutor's eyes, habits more than anything else as hiding your true feelings was something many learnt fast in this environement. In her eyes he saw only shyness and questions though. 'I guess she may seem to have a soft side, when it suits her.' he admitted. 'But nevermind her. Do you have any errand for today or will I have some time with you?' A bit bold, but anyway, what was said, was said, it was to late too take it back.
